Zoning Information
The City is pleased to share a new way to learn about zoning in our community: the digital interactive zoning map. By using this tool, property owners and those working on their behalf will be able to locate the zoning information necessary to pursue property improvements.
The map includes parcel-level data, such as zoning districts, addresses, parcel numbers, links to zoning standards and related diagrams, and links to the Franklin County Auditor.
(Note: neither the Zoning Code nor the official zoning map have changed. This is a new tool that displays the current zoning information. The official PDF zoning map is located here.)

How To Use the Map:
There are two ways to locate an address on the map.
First, if you know where the parcel is located, you can use the scroll wheel to zoom in on the parcel. Once you start to zoom in, the addresses will appear.
The second way is to use the search bar. Click inside the search bar and enter the address of the parcel you wish to find. Once you search, the map will zoom in on that parcel.
Now that you have located the parcel, you can view its zoning information. Click on the parcel. A pop-up box will appear. The box will contain the following information:
- The site address
- The zoning district
- A link to zoning standards
- A link to the parcel page on the Franklin County Auditor
- The parcel number
The map legend also shares zoning information, including zoning districts, zoning overlays, and the city boundary.
