Key Dates

Over the course of several months, City engineers studied the area of Northwest Boulevard and Virginia Avenue and surrounding streets to assess any potential impact of the median closure. Based on the results of the study and the recommendation to make the temporary median closure permanent, the next phase will include design of a median extension to be constructed at a future date yet to be determined.
